You’ve probably heard of Morning Routines, right? They’re a morning ritual that helps you get ready for the day in the best possible way. Whether you have an important meeting, a date with your soulmate tonight, or a first date, the Morning Routine helps you start the day on a positive note and release your energy as soon as you wake up.
Shaving is not enough!
Gentlemen, you have the right to take care of yourself! More and more men admit to enjoying a good scrub from time to time. Leave your all-in-one soap aside. Your face, body and hair have different needs and it’s time to pamper them.
A man who takes care of himself is an attractive man. A man who takes care of himself sends a positive message to those around him. A man who takes care of himself is a man who makes people want to be around him. I’m not telling you to spend hours in the bathroom every morning. Just give yourself a little time, before putting on your work suit and going to work with a coffee stain on your t-shirt because you didn’t take the time to drink it sitting down.
Your new bathroom ritual
- Drink a large glass of water (to hydrate the body).
- Wash your face with warm water and rinse it with cold water (to open and then close the pores of your skin).
- Nourish your skin (and your beard) with a day cream suited to your skin.
- Look at yourself in the mirror for 30 seconds and smile at yourself while complimenting yourself (if no one compliments you during the day, you will at least have had one when you wake up).
The time you spend in the bathroom is a moment of well-being that you offer yourself. It is not reserved only for women! Give yourself this time to wake up gently. These few minutes that you are going to offer yourself will allow you to be in a better mood at work, but also to maintain better relationships.
Start the day on a positive note
The “Morning Routine” doesn’t just happen in the bathroom. To start the day in a good frame of mind, you can also:
- take the time to read;
- meditate;
- to do sports;
- walk 10 minutes with music.
The idea is to take a little time to wake up gently, by doing something that you like, that makes you feel good and that allows you to work on your self-esteem, your image and your confidence.
You’re going to spend the day at work and you’re probably going to do tasks that you don’t enjoy. By starting the day with an activity that you enjoy, the less enjoyable tasks of the day will be much more bearable.
Self-motivation to have a good day
The morning routine is also a great way to work on your self-esteem, your image and your confidence. After waking up your body and stimulating your mind, you can now boost your ego (yes it’s allowed)!
To help you create your ritual, here are some positive affirmations that you can repeat to yourself (out loud, while listening to music that inspires you, or in your head with motivating music in your ears).
5 phrases to motivate yourself in the morning
- I know what I’m capable of, I know what I’m worth.
- I have confidence in my abilities, I am able to act to achieve my goals.
- I want to have a nice day, so I’m going to act accordingly.
- I am myself, everyone else is already taken.
- I have enough self-esteem and confidence to accept being told “NO”, there are other opportunities to seize in life.
Be aware of the power of your mind. Your brain is an ultra-powerful database that captures a lot of information during the day. The reproaches, criticisms, arguments and especially the negative thoughts that you have about yourself, come to brutally diminish your self-esteem, image and confidence.
Take the time to refuel with these positive phrases. Take the time to readjust your balance, so that your mind does not focus only on the negative. Especially if you have a date in the evening!
When you are in a seduction phase, your lack of image, self-esteem and confidence can paralyze you. Establishing this morning routine also allows you to come and work on these aspects of your life.
