Lie to seduce! A good idea?

Lying may seem like an easy solution to embellish our lives or seduce someone, but sooner or later it will catch up with us. It’s easy to get lost in our own lies and become unable to distinguish reality from fiction.

However, the Lover does not seek to deceive others. He builds his life on the truth and strives to minimize the little lies that can crop up in conversation. He prefers to use reality as a foundation for his stories and add a touch of creativity to make them more captivating. But once the story is told, he sticks to his original version to maintain the coherence and integrity of his personality. So, the Lover doesn’t let lies get in the way, preferring transparency to build healthy, lasting relationships.

Yet we come across dozens of chronic liars in our lifetime. We may even succumb to their charm as well as their affabulations. And then you think: “Shit, I’ve let myself be taken in like a virgin. Do we really want to put someone we want to win over through our own lies? Not really would be the ideal answer.

Also, the Lover knows how to lie, just a little, to improve his personal record. He’ll put forward his great qualities while admitting to a few minor faults. His background is that of a fighter who has experienced failures, sometimes bitter, that have taught him what’s essential. He won’t reveal his inclination for women, remaining vague about ex-girlfriends or past conquests.

On the other hand, the Lover is a keen observer of a woman’s temperament, who will be able to handle a raw truth, and who will be more reassured by a watered-down one. The thing to remember is not to invent or stage an identity that has nothing to do with who you really are.

So don’t pretend you’re a secret agent on an ultra-special mission when you’re a bank clerk. On the contrary, tell the truth, but embellish it by admitting how fascinated you are by everything to do with the great mysteries of the universe, secret brotherhoods, intelligence organizations, espionage, tax havens and so on.

Mythmongers are quickly spotted these days. It’s so easy to search the net these days that if you lie, you risk being found out before you’ve even scratched the soft skin of your charming conquest.
