A perfume can be a real weapon of seduction
Since the dawn of time, perfumes have been a fatal weapon of seduction to seduce. A true love potion, scents have an exceptional power of charisma to bewitch the female sex. But, what are the scents that most excite women today? Between scents of natural hormones and perfumes with plant extracts, women’s tastes have evolved.
Pheromones: Smell as a Signature
Choosing a partner is not based solely on physical appearance. In fact, it also depends on social, sporting and intellectual affinities. But it turns out that the smell that an individual gives off is just as important as these last criteria when it comes to choosing a romantic partner.
Pheromones, a mixture of substances produced by endocrine glands, are capable of triggering physiological and behavioral reactions in humans. They do not have a smell as such, but they are perceptible.
Pheromones are a real individual identity card, which the brain can perceive as attractive or not. The existence of pheromones acts on sexual attraction between men and women.
What are pheromones used for?
Pheromones are biochemical messages that have an effect on individuals of the same species. In the animal world, they guide important behaviors such as sexuality. Although humans also have the vomeronasal organ, located under the inner surface of the nose, they do not have the same ability to perceive and analyze these biochemical messages as animals do.
What role do odors play in sexuality?
As we know, olfaction plays an important role in the field of sexuality. The preconceived idea that a human has an extremely poor sense of smell is outdated. Smell is the sense of contact, proximity and interiority, which allows us to detect the natural odors of an individual. Stimulated or thwarted desire, subtle odors titillate the nostrils and are imprinted in the olfactory memory.
Smells can be the source of sexual arousal. Like touch and sight, smell also plays an important role in the imagination. Scents are perceived through the rhinencephalon, this part of the brain also called the pleasure center.
Why are we attracted to body odor?
You’ve probably found yourself in this situation at one time or another: you can’t resist the crazy charm and intoxicating perfume of a woman or a man! Don’t worry, this reaction is scientifically proven.
Very often, a chemical match occurs when you meet someone. You then find yourself caught in a mutual attraction, which is explained by your body odors. The scent given off by each person is unique and influences sexual desire.
Today, body odors are combined with the smells of shower gel, perfume, fabric softener and all the other products we use daily. This does not mean that the unique smell disappears. The combination of these body odors is often decisive in an intimate relationship.
Very often, the smell of your partner, even after showering, arouses your desire. In the same way, the smell of male sweat can be an aphrodisiac for many women.
The partner’s scent is an essential component in sexual attraction, but also romantic attachment. Indeed, the scent of a person is enough to distract us from the scents of other people. Smelling the scent of your partner’s skin and hair can be enough to generate sexual attraction.
A study shows that a large number of women fall for men who wear Christian Dior’s Eau Sauvage perfume. This is not a coincidence, it is a scientific reaction. In fact, German researchers have discovered that certain parts of our brain are activated by the effect of hedione, a molecule derived from jasmine and that these areas have a direct impact on libido!
Scientists have discovered that the smell of hedione activates the limbic system, which is linked to emotions, memory and motivation. “These results are evidence that there is a pheromone-related effect, different from normal olfactory perception, in humans,” says one of the researchers.
Scientists have thus established a list of perfumes containing hedione. These include Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior, Chamade by Guerlain, N°19 by Chanel and CK One Summer by Calvin Klein , for example.
Pheromones: what is that?
Behind this somewhat barbaric name lies an astonishing power. Pheromones are chemical substances emitted by all animals and by certain plants. They play the role of messenger to signify, for example, that a female is in heat.
In humans, pheromones mix with sweat and disperse quickly into the air.
In recent years, scientists have managed to synthesize human sex pheromones. The main characteristic of this pheromone is to give a person a friendly and attractive character.
Pheromones would therefore be a scientific explanation for what many call an “ inexplicable charm ”.
Because while we all secrete pheromones, some are more powerful than others.

Perfumes of seduction and first loves
To the question: “What men’s perfume do you like and why?”, they answer.
For Elisa, it is a scent of youth that is cited, that of first loves:
“So, if I want to think about the 80s and my green years, I think about Azzaro pour Homme , which only brings back good memories. They all wore that one…”
Still Azzaro , for Céline: “ Chrome brings back memories of childhood, of carefree days, it was my dad’s perfume.”
Marie-Louise, for her part, recalls her memories as a young bride: “ Kouros by Yves Saint-Laurent is the one my husband wore when we met.”
More or less classic fragrances that make you lose your mind
Clara loves Pi by Givenchy : “This perfume makes me want to eat the person who wears it. Oops, my man wears another one…”
With Vanessa, there is no ambiguity, the perfume she likes is that of her lover, Chrome by Azzaro – again! – fruity, sweet, sensual, I love it!
Like Aude’s favorite, Jamais le Dimanche by Ego Facto : “Ah, I don’t know how to say why I like it, I don’t know how to put it into words. But what I do know is that I love it!”
As for Amelie, her husband’s perfume makes her melt: ” Allure de Chanel , because it is both spicy and woody, sensual and virile, warm and sexy… impossible to resist!”
Finally, Christine made her choice Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin : “I like its sweet and warm notes that are rarely worn… and ultimately not very common in men’s perfumes in general. They transform on my man’s skin to become real elixirs of seduction… and fantasy.”
When perfume invites you to travel
On another note, some perfumes seem to provide other sensations. Thus, Alicia tells us she likes Kenzo pour Homme : “I can’t say why this perfume has something overwhelming, a bit like Eau d’Issey Miyake , a perfume of a lightness that smells of travel…”
Finally, for Stéph: ” Habit Rouge by Guerlain is a perfume that is both very feminine and very masculine, and I love this ambiguity, it makes me want to discover the person who wears it, it’s always someone surprising with an unusual personality!”
Gentlemen, you have understood it well, the choice of your perfume is not to be taken lightly, it is a formidable asset of seduction.
Don’t overdo it, no need to spray yourself too much, stay subtle and charming to let the effect work.
